About Anya

Anya was born in Massachusetts, she has lived in 5 different states within the U.S. but eventually found her way back to Massachusetts where she lives currently with her husband and their tuxedo cat. Growing up Anya studied classical ballet but always with an eye on becoming a lawyer in the future. In addition to her career in the law, she is passionate about animals and exercise, and is also an avid fan of both baseball and hockey. 

Anya has a Bachelor of Arts in English, with a minor in Woman’s Studies from the University of Connecticut, and is a graduate of Suffolk University Law School’s class of 2019. While in law school, Anya participated in a variety of extracurricular activities including the Business Law Association, and most notably was named Managing Editor of the Suffolk Journal of Trial and Appellate Advocacy, Moot Court Honor Board in her third year. Anya spent her law school summers mostly in the courtroom, serving as a judicial intern to the First Justice of the Charlestown Division of the Boston Municipal Court following her first year of law school, and acting as a 3:03 certified student prosecutor for the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office following her second. While working for the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office Anya appeared before the court on behalf of the Commonwealth in matters ranging from simple motions to criminal jury trials. Prior to law school, Anya spent two years gaining experience preparing estate plans and probate documents at a small trust and estates law firm. Anya received her license to practice law in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in November 2019. 

Today, Anya is enjoying accumulating experience in healthcare, business, and technology law through her position here at Magis Law Firm, P.C. and is eager to utilize her knowledge to help clients. Click here to contact Anya.
